Symphony GOLD Expansion

09.06.2017

As of 11 January, 2018 Symphony GOLD became the Retail Solutions Division of SymphonyAI.

Symphony GOLD, provider of the GOLD unified software platform for omni-channel retail, today announced the promotion of Arnaud Gauthier to the role of Senior Vice President of Sales, Central and Southern Europe, continuing to report directly to Graeme Cooksley, President and CEO.

Moving into this broader role two years after joining Symphony GOLD as VP of Sales for Southern Europe, Gauthier’s responsibilities for guiding sales strategy and business development will be expanded to include the Central Europe region. With significant industry experience, coupled with a deep understanding of the value delivered through Symphony GOLD’s integrated suite of merchandising and category managementsupply chain, and retail operations solutions, Gauthier will provide strategic advice to Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods customers, helping them drive increased business performance.

“End-to-end supply chain and omni-channel retail have been significant drivers of our growth and expansion in southern and central Europe,” said Gauthier. “The fundamental nature of customer behavior has changed and our clients are realizing the value of end-to-end retail solutions that connect merchandising with supply chain and retail operations, driven by a complete understanding of the customer.”

“Since Arnaud took his initial role, the organization has grown tremendously in Europe. New-name customers including Blokker, Action, Gamm Vert, Dia, and Tom and Co have selected Symphony GOLD as their partner of choice, and existing customers have moved to the latest V6 technology,” said Graeme Cooksley, President and CEO, Symphony GOLD. “In grocery retail in general, you need only look at the Amazon acquisition of Whole Foods to know that omni-channel is key, and that the challenges retailers face to compete will continue to grow. Arnaud, with his increased resources, is perfectly placed to help meet the demands of our customers, and our customers’ customer, in his expanded role.”
