PARIS, November 7, 2017 – Symphony GOLD, provider of the GOLD unified software platform for omni-channel retail and Retail Solutions Division of SymphonyAI, today announced that Bacardi-Martini France — producer of rum, whiskies, wine, vodka, gin, tequila, clear spirits, and modern liquors — has chosen Symphony GOLD to increase their category management team’s productivity and strengthen retailer account collaboration.

“To thrive in today’s market, CPGs must not only be efficient and smart about production and distribution, but also be as relevant as possible to their retail accounts,” said Arnaud Gauthier, Senior Vice President of Sales, Central and Southern Europe. “Our solutions enable CPGs to increase the value they deliver to each of their retailer relationships.”

Symphony GOLD’s capabilities will enable Bacardi’s category managers to perform reviews and analysis of the performance of its brand compared against the market, helping them accelerate productivity and better meet the needs of their retail accounts. Bacardi can now assess the health of a category before it makes assortment or distribution changes. Symphony GOLD category planning solutions, which enable CPG manufacturers and retailers to localize assortments and optimize shelf space, make recommendations that address category under performance by proposing the most relevant actions based on deep analysis of data and leveraging intelligence from the market. They elevate the CPG as a trusted advisor and utilize syndicated market data to justify recommendations.

“Symphony GOLD’s category planning solutions positively change our retailer relationships and supports our collaborative approach,” said François-Xavier Patenotre, Off-Trade Category Manager, Bacardi-Martini France. “We spend less time consolidating data and updating spreadsheets, which are often inefficient and prone to error. Our users now have capabilities that are simple to use, increase their productivity and deliver highly relevant category recommendations.”
