Laboratoires Urgo Healthcare selects Symphony GOLD for merchandising and space optimization

Space planning solution to streamline the merchandising process and improve on-shelf performance for market leader

Symphony GOLD, provider of the GOLD unified software platform for retail, today announced that Laboratoires Urgo Healthcare, a market leader in France for skin and wound healing products, has selected GOLD Space Planning to support their merchandising process. This latest investment sees two divisions of the Urgo Group now standardizing on GOLD for Space Planning.

Sister business, Laboratoires Juvasanté has been a GOLD Space Planning customer in excess of ten years. Using GOLD, Juvasanté has been able to maximize merchandisable space to deliver customer relevant planograms to support its retail partners. An example of this support has been the successful launch of the company’s new range of ‘essential oils’, which are now listed in many of the major supermarkets.

The success of this project means that GOLD Space Planning will now replace the existing space planning solution historically used by Laboratoires Urgo Healthcare. With GOLD, Urgo Healthcare will now be able to create planograms that present their products effectively, maximize shelf space and optimize the customer’s experience of the category.
