Founded in 1880 based on a US family owned business, Jack Link’s is now the number one meat snack company in the world. Jack Link’s is famously known for its beef jerky, a 100-year-old recipe created by Jack Link’s great grandfather, the company’s founder.


Jack Link’s knows that meat snacks is a growth category and is outpacing traditional snacking categories. However, they realize there is an over proliferation of brands in the meat snacks category, and there is an opportunity to drive efficient assortment to help retailers drive the category forward. They know there is opportunity for Jack Link’s to grow the category with their retail partners and were seeking a simple solution to enabled them to detect potential opportunities with customers.

Furthermore, through use of the new solution, Jack Link’s was also able to uncover when consumers were eating their products, as well as interaction between the consumer and other brands within the category.
