09.29.2020

DALLAS –  Sept. 29, 2020 – SymphonyAI, the leading global provider of integrated AI-enabled marketing, merchandising, and supply chain solutions for FMCG retailers and manufacturers, today announced that the Rossmann drugstore chain has selected SymphonyAI’s shelf space planning and planogram automation solutions to create store-specific planograms, optimize supply chain integration, and ensure improved shelf availability in all its German stores.

To meet the increasing customer demand and to improve customer satisfaction in stores, Rossmann decided to partner with SymphonyAI to optimize central and store processes. To do this, it will use SymphonyAI shelf planning and automation solutions. This will optimize the availability of products in all German stores using store-specific planning.

“We see a lot of potential in our central processes and stores,” said Uwe Matthäus, Managing Director of Buying at Rossmann. “As soon as we are in a position to align our stores to customer requirements more locally, it will have an obvious positive effect for our customers and our company.”

SymphonyAI shelf planning will allow Rossmann to link existing data with customer behavior and existing processes to meet the shopping behavior of customers at all store locations. The new solution for planogram optimization has a direct impact on implementing the category management concept in the stores by reducing manual steps and time.

Uwe Matthäus added “We have evaluated the market very intensively, and after initial successes in the implementation project and a rapid realization of value, we are sure that SymphonyAI provides what we need. In SymphonyAI, we have found a partner who is not just familiar with our business, but also works with us to achieve the goals we have set for ourselves.”

“Symphony is pleased to welcome Rossmann as a new customer in Germany, contributing to our extensive growth in DACH,“ said Arnaud Gauthier, President, CCO, International, SymphonyAI. “Every customer who chooses this future-oriented and technologically revolutionary solution is part of a global community and benefits from its knowledge, regardless of the individual requirements of their respective projects.”
